Below you will find basic information on some of the methods for using the Pure Paws products. You will find information on the following products.

Ultra Brightening Shampoo

Ultra Reconstructing Shampoo

Ultra Moisturizing Conditioner

Ultra Deep Conditioner

Ultra No Rinse Shampoo

Ultra Shine Conditioning Spray

Ultra Finishing Show Spray

The decision of what products to use is determined by the type of coat your dog has. This guide will give you basic instructions on mixing and application of the products. Customized product recommendations can be found on the individual Breed Guides.

We recommend you shampoo twice each time you bathe and then Condition.

NOTE: Prepare the mixing of the shampoos prior to getting your dog wet. This will make bathing safer and faster. Use all of the mixture. DO NOT STORE. If you mix to store the products, you must use distilled water. These directions will usually work on a medium sized dog. For a larger or smaller dog you will need to adjust the mixtures.

Ultra Brightening Shampoo-

The Brightening Shampoo is used on the first bath. Take a 20 oz. Soda bottle and put aprox. 1 teaspoon of shampoo. Fill up bottle to about 1-2 inches from top. (you need mixing room, plus you will get bubbles!) Completely wet dog. Pour the shampoo mixture over the coat and work in gently (Friction causes knots and coat breakage.) Leave the shampoo on the dog 3 to 5 minutes if you need extra cleansing or rinse out after working into coat. Rinse well.

Ultra Reconstructing Shampoo-

The Reconstructing Shampoo is used on the second bath. Take a 20 oz. Soda bottle and put aprox. 1 teaspoon of shampoo. Fill up bottle to about 1-2 inches from top. (you need mixing room, plus you will get bubbles!) Completely wet dog. Pour the shampoo mixture over the coat and work in gently (Friction causes knots and coat breakage.) Work the shampoo into coat. Rinse well. On last bath, rinse 3 times longer than normally do. You must rinse out all shampoo!

Ultra Moisturizing Conditioner or Ultra Deep Conditioner-

Take a 20 oz. Soda bottle and put aprox. 1 teaspoon of conditioner. Fill bottle with 2 inches of very HOT water. Close and shake very well to blend. Then add cooler water to 1-2 inches from top and shake very well. Test to insure the mixture is not too hot, before applying to coat. After rinsing coat very well, work mixture into coat. Rinse lightly for extra conditioning or rinse well for a light conditioning. Blow dry coat.

Ultra No Rinse Shampoo- Use in between baths

Facial Areas

Purchase a foaming dispenser. (You can get them very cheap, by going to the hand soap section of the grocery store and buy a bottle of foaming hand soap. Dial and Tone both make a foaming hand soap. Dump out the product, rinse well with hot water and let dry.) Fill the foaming dispenser and put the Ultra No Rinse Shampoo at full Strength. Press out a small puff of product. Apply to facial areas to cleanse face. Blow dry coat. (Moisture increase yeast growth which stains the coat a reddish color)

For heavy tearing- Apply corn starch with a cotton ball or facial blush brush. (To help keep area dry longer.)

The foam is also great on feet and behinds.

Body - Purchase a fine mist spray bottle Fill with 1 part No Rinse and 10 parts DISTILLED WATER. Spray on coat and work in areas to be cleaned. Blow dry. (Can be rinsed out if desired before blow drying.)

Ultra Conditioning Shine Spray- DO NOT DILUTE!

Mist lightly on coat before brushing or combing. Never brush a dry coat, it breaks the coat.

Spray liberally on a mat, before working out mats.
